Mr. Phong Gia

Mr. Phong Gia is a finance, strategy, and corporate governance professional with more than 26 years of professional experience in Vietnam and Australia. His expertise spans auditing, corporate finance, risk management, internal controls, M&A, restructuring, and the development and execution of growth strategies.

Throughout his career, Mr. Phong Gia has held various professional and leadership positions at major organizations and corporations, including EY Vietnam, EY Melbourne, KPMG Darwin, PwC Melbourne, the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office, Thien Long Group, Nam Long Group, and Sovico Group.

• At Thien Long Group, he served as Deputy General Director in charge of Finance, overseeing financial performance and business growth, while also participating in the company’s IPO and stock listing on HOSE.
• At Nam Long Group, he served as Deputy Group Finance Director and Deputy Transformation Director, where he was directly involved in developing and executing the Group’s 10-year growth strategy in collaboration with McKinsey.
• Currently, Mr. Phong Gia is a Partner at Stratify Partners, advising businesses on strategy, governance, capital allocation, organizational capability development, and growth transformation. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of several businesses he directly advises.
• Alongside his consulting and governance work, he is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) and a lecturer for the Finance For Non-Financial Leaders program at FTMS Global.
• Academically, Mr. Phong Gia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Warwick, focusing his research on strategy, governance, and sustainable corporate competitiveness in an increasingly volatile business environment.
